Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik took possession of a flat in Ajman that was gifted to him by the Pakistan Cricket Board for his performance in the Twenty20 four-nation tournament in Toronto last year.
Malik had made trips to Ajman in the last few days while the Quaid Trophy was on and finally got ownership rights of the flat.
Malik told the&aposAaj aur Kal&aposnewspaper that he had signed papers for the possession of the apartment and was now its proud owner.
"I have had to make several trips to Ajman to finalise the paper work. But it has been worth it,"he said.
Shohaib Malik said he did not play in the Quaid Trophy because of an niggling ankle injury.
